A beach wedding reception can be quite an exciting addition to your wedding.  Many people that organize a beach wedding ceremonies choose to have indoor receptions, but it is perfectly fine to have a beach wedding reception, too.  Better still, you can save some money by choosing one of the venues below:

1. Public park or nature reserve: Most public parks have a shelter or area that you can book to organize an event.  Often these shelters are available free of charge or for only a small fee.  If you are lucky, some of these shelters include cooking facilities.
2. The poolside. This is perfect for those that are organizing a small beach wedding.  You can book the poolside of your hotel for a sweet and exciting reception.
3. Local churches. Churches are located in every region of the country.  You can choose one that is on or near the beach to organize your wedding.  In most cases, you can organize your reception at the same place for no cost.
4. On board a boat. Nowadays, almost all waterside communities have charter boats that offer evening cruises.  You can, for instance, opt for the dinner cruise or the desert and coffee cruise to organize your reception.  There are some companies that are nicknamed ‘booze cruises’ because they specialize in the organization of such events.
5. Take advantage of volleyball courts that are available on the beach. Most of the time these facilities are available at no cost, but it is advisable to book them in advance.
