Extra expenses can be created because of commuting and eating out due to no time to prepare your own meals. Borrow from family instead of loan sharks. You might wonder what borrowing has to do with debt relief but consider that if you have to pay the high interest rates characteristic of payday loans and bank cash advances then it reduces whatever income you already have.

Ask for donations if you are confident to do so. Believe it or not, people have actually set up websites explaining their goal of raising income to get debt relief. Don’t toss away any idea as too wild when you are on an endeavor to raise your income. It may not seem like you spend much but when you total your expenditures at the end of the day you will be surprised how it all adds up.  When you track your expenses daily, subtract the amount from how much you earned each day in order to compute your net income. If you see frequent daily net income figures in the red then it is a clear signal that you need to take drastic measures to cut your expenses.

Try to negotiate for lower interest rates. Are they too high? Give your credit card company a call and just ask them for a lower rate in order to get debt relief. You don’t know until you try. If you have a good record with a credit card company, it is not unreasonable to negotiate with them as a valued customer.
