In today’s chaotic society there are always going to be some groups of parents that are not going to agree with some sort of toy that has been manufactured. This is very true for the very recently manufactured Totally Stylin’ Tattoos Barbie produced by Mattel. As you can likely gather from the toys name this Barbie comes with a colorful collection of tattoo stickers that kids can put anywhere on the doll’s body. The toy also comes with a toy tattoo gun that will allow them to stamp temporary tattoos on the dolls clothes and even on themselves if they choose to do so.

This Barbie doll of course has many parents up in arms because they believe that the toy is completely inappropriate and causing kids at a young age to want to get tattoos and expose parts of their body so that the tattoos will be visible.
What these same parents are failing to realize is that getting their kids this particular toy is not any different then getting their kids temporary tattoos and letting them place them on their body. So these up tight parents need to calm down and realize that letting their kids have a tattoo themed doll will not be the end of the world. If you make it well known how much you would not want your child to have a tattoo it is simply going to make them want one more then even and it will have noting to do with having or not having a tattoo themed Barbie doll.

With the Mattel Toy Company making no statements about discontinuing the tattoo themed Barbie line, it comes down to parents realizing that there is really nothing wrong with letting your kids play with a harmless toy whether it is a Barbie doll or some other toy.
