Making the perfect salmon
If you’re on a health kick or if you just like fish or seafood is the best thing you can eat. According to some studies salmon is better for you than most other fish or seafood that is out there. The reason behind this is because salmon is high in omega 3 and fish fats because the oils in the fish are great for our health in matters dealing with the heart and coronary diseases.
Now that you know that salmon is the best fish for those wanting to eat healthier let’s figure out some great ways to prepare it. First things first, if you choose to bake your salmon you are going to have to preheat your oven to a medium temperature. Deciding to prepare your salmon with select herbs and spices is never a bad idea as the ending result is very tasty. Dill and garlic are always popular choices and for a neat change you can also try using coriander and fennel. Using some high quality seasonings is a great idea so try and imagine the taste combination that you will enjoy the most.
To prepare the herbs and spices that you would like to use with your salmon you first need to add the combination you plan to use in a small bowl. Rub the body of the salmon with some olive oil and then sprinkle the spices on the salmon. Let the salmon sit for a while before you decide to cook it.
The olive oil will enhance the taste of your salmon without making it greasy. You should place your salmon on the cooking surface you are planning on using a cook it eight to ten minutes on each side on a medium heat.
Salmon is a meat that does not require a whole lot of time to prepare so you want to be sure to check it often. Once your salmon is properly prepared then all you need to do is put a little bit of lemon juice and pepper on it and enjoy your meal.
