Tips for Maintaining Your Skin

Wash your dry skin with mineral water and avoid using tap water. Do not use rough cloth or towel to clean your skin as it may irritate your skin. Instead of rubbing apply a spray or mineral water on your skin to clean. You can use plant sprayer for cleaning. Dry skin needs extra protection and you have to maintain moisture on your skin. Massage your skin with oil and moisture. This massage gives a soft and moist look, because moisturizer automatically increases the water content in your skin layer, to take bath use only soaps which contain gentle application of baby oil.

It is advisable that to use only home made creams to massage your skin every night. Use liberal quantity of cream on surrounding of your eye area. Make a habit of pat on your whole body with virgin coconut oil, cocoa butter regularly after bath. You can prevent or treat your skin drying out by the following methods. Always take bath with Luke warm water instead of hot water. Do not spend more time for bathing. Apply moisturizer immediately after bathing and hand wash. Use always soft soaps. Choose proper ointments and cleansing creams.

You have to use cleanser and purifier to maintain your skin soft and healthy. Make a mix of an egg yolk, one teaspoon orange juice, one-teaspoon olive oil, drops of lime juice and rose water and apply this paste on your skin before your bath daily. Also you can make a skin mask with the following ingredients: one egg, one teaspoon of honey, few drops of rose water and half teaspoon of olive oil.

Take a Milk bath once in a week. This will smooth and nurture your skin. Mix 250 grams of powdered milk with warm water, one teaspoon of almond oil and few drops of perfume whichever you like. Take bath in this water, this will really give beautiful complexion to your skin. You have to take special care for your lips, the best treatment for peel or crack on your lips massage your lips with milk cream with mixture of rosewater and lime juice daily before going to bed. It is better to remove all the chapped skin with soft towel or raw beetroot gently before applying lipstick. Use Vaseline also to keep your lips soft and gentle.

Avoid spending your times in sunlight. Sun is the main cause for all skin damages like wrinkles, rashes and blisters. Always apply proper sunscreen to all uncovered areas when you are working in sunlight.

To maintain your skin, apart from external care you have to take internal care also. Food habit should be in proper manner. You have to take balanced diet with vegetables, gains, fruits, nuts and seeds. Take raw foods often. Consume lot proteins from vegetables. To keep your skin soft and young, eat plenty of foods that consists sulfur such as garlic, eggs, onion and asparagus. Take large quantity of orange and yellow vegetables particularly carrot, which is having high beta-carotene. Drink lot of water daily. Heat processed vegetable oils, animal fat and fried foods are the main enemies for skin. It is better to avoid junk foods. Do not eat sugar, chocolate, chips and also do not drink cool drinks. Skin and body cells will lose essential minerals by consuming alcohol and caffeine.

Smoking will cause harmful result on your skin. Nicotine tighten the blood vessels basically. Smoking will make your skin dry and gristly.
