The official name of Frankfurt is “Frankfurt am Main”. Frankfurt is located in the state of Hessan of Central Germany. This is the main Financial and commercial capital of Germany. Frankfurt Zoo

Situated in Ostend and totally ruined in the Second World War. Only 20 animals got escaped. In 1950 it was renovated. Frankfurt Zoo contains more than 3200 animals and 600 species are kept in the natural habitat. The most recently added attraction of this zoo is Black Cat Jungle. You can enjoy the summer in two restaurants located in the zoo and also the terrace of the zoo. The major attraction of the zoo is Grimek, the room where the animal feel the daytime as night. Most of the animals such as fish, insects, reptiles and penguins are kept in the natural surroundings.

Historical Museum (Historiches Musuem)

This is the museum where you can find most of the art works ranging from the Middle Age up to present age. The main collections of the museum are cultural history, general history and art history. Children museum is near by this museum where you can get more offers to the young age children. This museum also exhibits gold and silver crockery, pottery and porcelain, photographs, jewellery, paintings and the models of the Altstadt of different periods.
